Cheat mode:
On the second title screen (the one with the
airplane), after the Ace of Aces logo flashes, Press Up, Right, Right,

The game will automatically go to the mission select screen, and "Cheat
Mode" will be visible. You will now have unlimited ammo.

Bank your aircraft as far to the left as possible.
Hold the D-pad in this position and you cannot be hit until the 12th stage.
Easy refueling:
Line up with the refueling plane when it appears.
Use the D-pad to move across the top of the plane, then press Down + 1
+ 2 to refuel.
Air Rescue
Test Mode:
At the title screen, press: Up, Right, Down,
Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, Button 1. You can now select your starting
level, number of lives, sound test, ect.
Aladdin
Invincibility:

Miracle World
Continue game play:
Hold Up and press 2 eight times at the game over
screen. Note: This code may only be enabled if there is a total of $400
or more when game play ends.
Bonus Round:
In Lake Fathom, when you come to the first octopus,
kill him by punching out the tentacle segments, or you can use the Teleport
powder and punch him in the face twice. After you kill him, center Alex
over the gray chest and press down twice. This will bring you to an underground
lake and the southernmost island in the lake.
Hint: Transform ghost into extra life:
Go to the second question mark in the first level.
Punch it out and a ghost will appear. Run away from it. Go to the question
mark at the end of the level. Punch it and there will no longer be a ghost
where one usually appears. Instead, an extra life will appear.

All items:
Enter the kitchen and first, collect the salami,
then the cat. Move left and locate the screen that contains three doors.
Enter the first door to reach the children's bedroom. Then, press Pause,
hold Up + Left, and press 1 + 2.
Alien 3
Unlimited lives:
Start game play in two player mode and obtain
a high score for both players. Intentionally have one of the players lose
all their lives and enter ALIEN as a name on the high score screen. The
corresponding player will have unlimited lives when game play continues.
Unlimited Continues:
Enter the configuration screen. Enter two players
and then start the game. Complete level one with player one and let player
two die three times on the fans, now complete level 2 with player one.
Player two will now start again on level one but will be graced with infinite
continues.
Alien Syndrome
Temporary invincibility:
Wait until 272, 267, 232, 222, 171, 161, 131,
or 121 is displayed on the counter, then collect the boxes with the question
marks from the ships.
Altered Beast
Bonus life meter:
Press Up + Left + 1 + 2 at the title screen.
Continue game play:
You can continue 4 times. When GAME OVER
appears, press:
1st continue = Up + Left + 1 + 2

Astertix
Infinite Lives:
When you reach a special treasure pot, hit it
so that the bonuses fly out, collect the extra life and walk off the screen,
then walk back to the chest to collect another life. Continue this until
you have enough lives to complete the game.
Secret Room:
On round 1 - 1 as Obelix, go into the first well,
and stand on the platform at the left of the screen. When it falls, walk
left to go through a wall into the room.
Secret Room 2:
Play as Obelix in round 2-1, jump onto the rotating
platforms to the Menhir container, then jump to the platform on top. Do
small steps where there isn't grass and you will suddenly fall into a secret
room.
Astro Warrior
Red power-ups:
Rapidly alternate buttons 1 and 2 when the words
"Galaxy Zone", "Asteroid Zone", or "Nebula Zone" are displayed. If
you do it at just the right speed, the red power-up's appear. *note*
finding the precise speed to press the buttons is fairly difficult.
Argos no Ju-Jiken
(Rygar)
Invincibility:
When the "SEGA MARK III" appears, hold Down +
Right on Control 1 and Up + Right on Control 2 until the sword appears
in the opening screen. Now, when you start the game, your character will
be invincible.
Check-Point Continue:
Normally, when you use the continue option, your
character appears at the start of the stage. With this code, you'll start
at the Check-Point of the stage. Just select the Continue option holding
Down on control 1 and 2.
Aztec Adventure
Level select:
Press Up five times before the Aztec Adventure
scroll opens on the title screen. Press Right three times while Nino tosses
money at the other characters. Press Left, Down while all characters are
walking toward the left side of the screen. Nino's face will appear next
to the Aztec Adventure scroll to confirm correct code entry. Use the D-pad
to change the level numbers appearing below the face.
Sound test:
Start the game, and at the screen with the rainbow,
press Left once, then Right twenty times. Nino's face will appear to the
right of the rainbow to confirm correct code entry. Use the D-pad to change
the numbers appearing above the face to select a sound, then press 1. To
resume game play, select sound 00 and press 2.

Level skip:
Pause the game, hold 1 + 2, and press Up, Down.

Future Part 3
Level skip:
Pause game play. Hold 1 then press Up, Down,
Left, Right to advance to the next level. There are only three levels in
the game.
Batman Returns
Level select:
Hold Up + 1 + 2 for approximately two seconds
at the title screen. A blue screen with a level select menu will be displayed.
Black Belt
Unlimited Lives:
At the title screen, press button 1 to start
the game. A red screen will appear showing the number of lives you have.
When the screen goes blank, press and hold reset. Riki will walk across
the top of the screen and die. After the game resets, let go of the reset
button. When you start the game, you will have unlimited lives. (If this
works, the background graphics in Chapter 1 will be garbled.)
Bonus level:
When the ending message screen appears after
defeating Wang in the 6th level, press Up twenty times. This sends you
to a secret level. (In Chapter 7, you will fight all the bosses again.)
Level Select:
At title screen, using controller 2, press:

California Games
New bike:
Enter KOTARO as a name and begin game play. Break
a record, then play the bonus game. If your character wins, a new bike
will be awarded.
New surfboard:

Faster hackey-sack reflexes:

Easy scoring:
Kick the ball into your own goal to score against

Finals:
Qualify for the semi-finals and play until a
score of 0-0 is reached at half-time. Select the "Quit" option to jump
to the finals.
Choplifter
Level select:
Press Up, Down, Left, Right, 1 at the first opening
screen. Then, press 1 on the next screen. The phrase "Select Round" will
appear to confirm correct code entry. Press Start when the desired number
appears to begin game play at the corresponding level.
Rescuing level 2 hostages:
The last eight hostages on level two are in the
submarine. Bomb the periscope as it appears from the water. This will cause
the entire submarine to emerge. The hostages will appear on the bridge.
Land next to them to start the rescue.
Stop tank from firing:
Move up and down after landing to collect the
hostages to prevent the tank from firing.
When the helicopter is shot, press both buttons
and move the
Directional Pad up and down. This will
enable the hostages to
eject out of the helicopter.
ON ROUNDS 1 AND 4, shoot 10 Space Mines and Superman
will appear.
This will enable the hostages to run faster.
ON ROUNDS 2 AND 5, shoot the Radio Towers on the
boats and Jaws
will come out of the water.

Double Dragon
Unlimited continues:
Press 1 + 2 on controller one (jumping reverse
kicks) at least ten times on the first screen of level four before either
player moves.
Kissing Glitch:
On the Last Level, use the Infinite continue
trick. In the Last Room before Jeff, Move up and Down until the enemies
on the screen do the same. Continue to move up and down and make your way
to the other side of the room. Be sure all enemies are off screen. Now
press down and fall into the spikes, this will kill you, but with infinite
continues no big deal. Keep doing it until new enemies appear and repeat
till Jeff comes out Defeat Jeff on the very right side of the screen. Once
defeated you make your way to your girl-friend. But... Instead it will
either be an Abobo or Linda. You proceed to kiss the enemy but in a fairy-tale
style the enemy turns into your girl-friend. This is a really fun Glitch.
Dynamite Duke
Cheat mode:
At the title screen, press 1 on controller two
to display a hidden menu with skill level and sound test options.
Dynamite Dux
Hidden Areas:
When you have killed one of the bosses, stay
at the top of the road, a road block will appear at the bottom and disappear
at the top, this feature will allow you to explore normally other hidden
areas.
Ecco 2: the

Cheat Menu:
During the game, hold 1 + 2 to display the map.
At the map screen, press Left, 1 , 2, 1, 2, Down, 2, Up. The cheat
menu will appear, but the cursor will be out of alignment (but the code

Enduro Racer

Super jumps:
Approach a jump at 200 kph and press Down, Up

the ground. This will allow your bike to remain in the air for a longer

Fantasy Zone
Cheaper Ships:
Wait until the story starts to roll, then press
Up and Down 25 times. Do this before the prologue ends, and start the game.
You will now be able to buy as many lives as you can afford for $1000 each
in the first shop you enter.
Unlimited weapon time:
Buy all the big engines (Big Wings, Jet Engine,
Turbo Engine, and Rocket Engine) before buying a weapon.
More money:
Enemy bases drop bigger coins when destroyed
during the first thirty seconds of the level.
Fantasy Zone

Clocks:
Hiyarika (Stage 3): Just below the Blackheart's
warp.
Chaprun (Stage 5): Located in the middle of the
"fountain" scene.
Sbadarian (Stage 7): In a hole in the "desert"

Sarcand (Stage 2): In the "crystal" scene. That
has the shop in it. Shoot at the tallest crystal.

Press DOWN = Recover health
Press LEFT = Finish the round
Press RIGHT = Win the match

Ghost House
Freeze the Action:
At various places in the corridors, there are
overhead lamps that can be touched by Mickey's head. When he jumps up and
hits the lamp, it will cause all the monsters and Dracula to "freeze" for
about four seconds. Since vampires can only be destroyed in human form,
it is best to "freeze" the action when he is in bat form flying through
the corridor. Then, maneuver close to him and begin your attack after the
flashing ends.
Hidden Knives:
To gain knives, jump up and hit the candles on
the walls.
Invincibility:
When you walk by a fireplace, an arrow will shoot
out at you. You can duck under them, jump over them, or jump on them. Jumping
on them is the best thing to do. If you jump on the arrows 25 times or
so IN A ROW, you will become invincible for a short time.
Walk Through Walls:
When your next to a wall get as close to the
wall as possible and turn around. (Be sure you don't walk away from the
wall.) Hold DOWN on the control pad and turn back towards the wall. While
still ducking, push toward the wall to go through it!

Switch the last two digits of any account number.

Two Pads:
The game is easier if you use two Control Pads.
To play with two Control Pads, press and hold right on Control Pad 2, and
press Button 2 twice. Playing with two Control Pads is very difficult at
first, but once you get used to it, it will boost your scores greatly.

For a chance to challenge the alien champions

Hold the Pause button while powering on the system,

Level Select:
When the Lemming pulls the Sega logo across the
screen, hold 1 + 2 and press Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right. You should
hear a confirmation sound. When the title screen appears, choose your difficulty
level, then go on to the New Level box and press Right (or Left) to increase
(or decrease) the starting level. Now simply press Button 2 to return to
the menu screen and choose the One Player box to play the selected level.
Line of Fire
3D mode:
Hold down buttons 1 and 2 while powering on your
system.
Sound test:
Using controller 2, hold down buttons 1 and 2
as the title screen appears (the screen with the gun), then press 1 or
2 on controller 2 to access the sound test. Use controller 2 to change
and play the sounds.
The Lion King
Level select:
After turning on the game, a Walt Disney/Virgin
screen with yellow letters will appear. As the screen starts to disappear,
quickly press: Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Down. If performed correctly,
you will hear a confirmation sound. Start a new game to access the level
select screen.
Lord Of The
Sword
Full health:
Locate a village and enter all the buildings
twelve times. In addition to restoring your health, the villagers will
reveal new information.
Marble Madness
Level select:
Select "Test FX 2" and "Test Music 5" on the
options screen. The "Select Level" option may now be used to choose a new
starting level.
Master Of Darkness
Level select:
Hold Up/Left + 1 + 2 at the title screen. Release
the buttons when the level select screen appears.

Continue game play:
Hold Up/Left + 1 + 2 at the title screen to continue
game play. The number of the current level will be appear in the top right
corner to confirm correct code entry. Use the D-pad to select a new area
and press 1 or 2 to begin game play. Note: This may only be done until
level 4-4 is reached.
Bonus life:
Your character will swing the pipe immediately
after it is collected. Try to hit an enemy with the swing to earn an extra
life.
Mick And Mack:
Global Gladiators
Level select:
Highlight the second main menu option and press
Left, Right, Left, Right, Left(2), Right(2), Left, Right.
Micro Machines
Stage Select:
At the title screen, press Up, 2, Down, 2, 2,
Left, 2, 2, 2.
Always finish in first place:
Start the Breakfast Bends level as usual. When
the round starts, turn around and race the lap backwards. When you cross
the finish line you will hear a jingle to indicate the code has worked.
Whatever happens, you will now finish every race in first place.
Super Skid:
Go to the honey puddle in the center of the table
on the "The Breakfast Bends" track and press 1+2. A sound will confirm
the code. This will cause your car to skid more (similar to hard
mode).
Hard mode:
At the title screen, press Up, Down, Left, Right,
Left, Button 2, Up to activate "Hard mode", in which your car skids more.
Rock hard mode:
At the title screen, press Up, Down, Left, Right,
Left, Button 2, Up, Up, Button 2, Up to activate "Rock hard mode", which
causes you car to skid a lot more.
Faster car:
On the qualifying race, get well ahead of the
pack and then stop just before the finishing line, turn around, and hold
button 2 to reverse over the finishing line in first place. A sound will
play if you do it right, and you will have a faster car.
Easier opponents:
On the first race ("The Breakfast Bends"), drive
off the top right corner of the table backwards. A sound will play if you
do it right. This makes your opponents' cars slower.
Explosive Opponents:
On the first race ("The Breakfast Bends") stop
your car at the top left corner of the table and press 1+2. A sound will
play if you do it right. This makes your opponents explode when they touch
you.
Infinite lives:
On the first race ("The Breakfast Bends"), drive
off the bottom right corner of the table forwards. A sound will play if
you do it right. This gives you infinite lives - although they don't show
they are infinite if you lose that race.
Interesting bug:
In two-player mode, on the pool table tracks,
try reversing, or being pushed by a collision, into some of the pockets.
Sometimes you can get weird effects, including removing the speed limiter
on your car - you just keep accelerating until the game crashes - but in
one player the effect is generally bad.

Note: A controller with an auto-fire option is
recommended. Locate the round tree on the right side of the first screen
of level 1. Eliminate the first Ninja that appears. Approach the tree and
shoot it for approximately fifteen minutes. Complete the level with 0%
to receive ten lives and a large amount of bonus points.
Bonus points:
Get a hit ratio of 100% and you will receive
a massive 50, 000 points bonus.
Scroll Locations:
Scroll one is found on the first round after
killing the transforming Ninja, Scroll two is found on round four, shoot
the bottom of the statue five times. Scroll three is on round six, cross
the last bridge on the left and walk strait to the tree above the first
samurai home next to the wall. Scroll four is on round 8, Go into the top
of the last garden on the right and repeat the process you used to find
scroll three. The final scroll is found on stage nine, Keep to one side
while reaching the top of the wall but don't kill the ninja immediately.
Wait for awhile and the green scroll will appear. Collect this and you
will receive instructions on how to enter the temple.

Infinite Ninja Magic:
Wait until you've collected 999 "N" points before
using any ninja magic.
Out Run
Music Test:
At the song selection screen, press Right, Left,

Hidden warp area:
Locate the jumping platforms at the end of level
1-3. Jump to the top of the screen. Near the top are three jumping platforms
in a triangular arrangement. Jump off the lower right platform and punch
the air. The sky will begin to open. Hit this same location until a black
hole appears. Jump into the hole to enter the warp area. Slide down the
steel ramp until two pipes appear. The first pipe leads to level 5-1 and
the second pipe leads to level 4-1.
Ultimate warp:
In level 1-1, find the floating island with a
lake in the middle. Skip across the lake and jump onto the platform
to the right. Stand on the right edge of the platform and throw Birdfly.
A black hole will open. Jump into the hole and you will be taken
to the warp area. The first pipe will take you to level 7-1, and
the second pipe will take you to level 2-1.

Unlimited continues:
Select sound "00" in the sound test mode. Hold
2 and press Left on controller one. The selected sound will change to "95".
Press 1 and select each sound until sound "00" is selected again. After
sound "00" is selected, hold 1 to resume the continue countdown. Sweep
the D-pad in a clockwise in a Full-Circle to gain an unlimited number of

Pac-man mini-game:

option to play the Game Gear, which starts the "Pac-Man" mini-game.
Venom's Suit:
To equip Spidey with Venom's suit, start the
game in "Nightmare" mode, and after you defeat the Lizard at the end of
round 2, move to the right and fall into the pit where you can find the
Lizard's key. Then, walk through the sewage to the bottom of the ladder,
hold Down, and press Jump to make Spider-Man dive into the sewage. Press
Jump again, and Spider-Man will leap out wearing venom's suit.

Invincibility:
When playing as JJ, go to any room that has a
guard who passes in front of the computer console. Access the computer
when the guard is in front of it, so that you are overlapping both the
guard and the computer. Enter the suicide code (0000), and instead
of dying, you will become invincible.
NOTE: Once invincible, the pause button will
do no good, which means you will not be able to change characters.
(Alternate version) To become invincible, in room (C,3), get halfway on the elevator so that J.J. is in the laser beam. Go up and down between floors. When J.J.'s power reaches 0, the floor will drop out and J.J. will be invincible. (This is difficult and may require several attempts.)
Hidden Rooms:
When you reach a dead end, shoot the wall in
front of you up to 15 times to reveal a hidden room.
