It's Fantasy Zone for the Japanese computer system, Sharp
X68000
-Short Review-
I could never find a rom image of this game to test, but
according to other reviews I've seen, it's pretty much arcade perfect,
not only that, but from what I've gathered: you can go to the options
menu, and select the "arrange" option. Then, after starting a game,
the bases will drop letters instead of coins.
Collect the letters in order to spell "harrier" in each of the 7 rounds,
then, instead of going to Salfur and fighting all the bosses over again,
you will play a new Space Harrier themed stage called "Dragon Land".
And then for the boss, you will fight all of the Space Harrier bosses.
After you complete that stage, you will go to Salfur and play normally,
but then, after beating the game, the bases will be different when you
play through the game again.
