-Kinetic Connection: Game Gear-
|
-Overview-
This was more of a cameo appearance for Opa-Opa, than
an actual Fantasy Zone spin-off, but since Opa-Opa's featured prominently
on the packaging, I'll give Kinetic Connection it's own page. As
far as I can tell, Kinetic Connection was originally released in 1986 on
several home computers of the era, such as the Comodore 64, MSX2, and even
the Famicom Disk System. Sega decided that it would be perfectly
suited for their portable, and added Opa-Opa to give it more of a Sega
flavor.
-Short Review-
Basically, you've got to reconstruct an animated image
by swapping aound the pieces untill they're in the right place. Some
pieces also need to be flipped vertically or horizontally.
Opa-Opa makes his appearance as one of the puzzles, and if you don't
move for about 30 seconds, Opa-Opa will show up on-screen and try to show
you a piece that needs to be moved. Of course, when he shows up,
it makes it hard to watch the action on-screen, and instead of helping,
can actually hinder your progress a little.
