-Fantasy Zone: Sega Master System-
-Overview-

This was the first Mega-Cartridge sega released, and was the "Killer App." for the Master System before Alex Kidd hit the scene.
As Sega's first Mega-Cartridge, they didn't think they could recreate the round 4 and round 6 bosses perfectly, so they created 2 replacement bosses, which if you had grown tired of the arcade version, would give you incentive to buy the SMS version.

-Short Review-

Overall, this is a fantastic port.
The graphics could have been a little better, but for such an early SMS game, we can cut them a little slack, as, in general, they're quite good.  The music's great too, but a PSG chip can never come close to producing music as good as in the arcade.  My only complaint with the sound is that the "whistle" in the song "Opa-Opa" is missing. And of course, the gameplay is VERY good, in fact, it's just as fun as the arcade version.

Playing Tips:

Refer to the Arcade version for strategy on everything except what's listed here:

Giant Piranha (round 4)
The best strategy is to stay on the far left side of the screen and hold still while firing at the boss, he'll stay level with you.  Only move a little to nudge yourself out of the path of the teeth flying at you, and you'll beat this boss easily.

Angular Tortoise (round 6)
This is definitely one of the hardest bosses in the game.  You've got to shoot the tortoise on the head when it comes out while dodging the hail of bullets.  If your timing is good enough, a single heavy bomb can kill this boss, but it has to hit when the head is fully extended.  If you don't have any heavy bombs, stay level with the tortoise's head and pay strong attention to the falling bullets.
