For years, mankind has sought a way to destroy the world... and today, one wacky raccoon may do just that...

Behold, the Atomic Ball Pit!

What is it, you say?

Well, it started out as a normal child's ball pit, but when Spunky the Raccoon added parts from a salvaged nuclear submarine, it changed in ways no one could predict.
This ball-pit is no longer a thing of playful bliss, but instead, a nuclear nightmare... for YOU!

As Spunky's ever present roommate Bunny, it's up to you to keep the Atomic Ball Pit from going critical and wiping out all life within an inescapable radius.
You see, Spunky made the Atomic Ball pit to be a game, but he didn't expect it to become unstable.
Now, you must play this game... or die trying.

The Atomic Ball Pit is a puzzle game; where-in you make rows of matching colored balls by shooting at them with some kind of high-tech laser gizmo.

To learn the gameplay basics, watch the attract mode.
(or just jump right in, it's pretty easy to figure out)
 

  A few finer points of the game: 

Relax... We're all going to die!!!
The pressure gauge is always rising, but the faster you click, the faster it rises (Except bonus rounds).  Conserve your power and plan ahead.

The Bonus rounds:

Strategy: Click like mad, and let the inert balls fall into rows.  I suggest using both mouse buttons and alternating rapidly.  If you've got "Mad Skillz" with a mouse, you can destroy balls as fast as they fall.

The High Power Ball:

As the pressure rises, the High Power Ball is more likely to appear.

Making a row with this in it will give you extra power, but shooting it directly will make it explode.

And if you shift the laser into high gear, it'll REALLY explode!

The Inert Ball:

As the levels progress, you'll see these more often.  The only way to deal with them is to either:
Blow them up with the High Power Ball.
Destroy the balls below them to move them out of the way.
Make a row of them.

Advanced Scoring:

Clearing a row of balls will give you 500 points, but if you can pull off combos, your score can skyrocket!

1 row: 500 points
2 rows: 1000 points
3 rows: 2500 points
4 rows: 5000 points
5 rows: 10000 points
6 rows: 25000 points
7 rows: 50000 points
Additional rows: 25000 additional points.

Combos can be achieved thusly:

Have 2 or more rows cross.
.
Setup a drop combo, 
and destroy the "blocker" 
to initiate the combo.

At the high score screen, your score will be judged with FUN! little icons:

Sure, the icons are fun... but will they earn you the respect of your co-workers?

...Probably not, but they WILL unlock some FUN! pics if you earn icons in both Normal and Endurance modes.
